This Privacy Policy explains what information Forgecept collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account information you provide: your email, name, role (founder or builder), and profile details such as bio and track record.

Deal information: the concepts, applications, and agreements you create on the Service.

Payment information: memberships are processed by Stripe. We receive your subscription status but never see or store your full card number.

Usage data: basic log and device information generated when you use the Service.

3. How We Use Information

To operate the marketplace, authenticate you, process memberships, send transactional notifications (such as new-applicant and offer alerts), maintain security, and improve the Service.

4. How We Share Information

With service providers who help us run Forgecept: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Netlify (hosting).

With other users: your profile and the public teaser of your concepts are visible to other members, and once you enter a deal your contact email is shared with the counterparty so you can coordinate.

For legal reasons: when required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies and Sessions

We use cookies strictly to keep you signed in and operate the Service. We do not use them for third-party advertising.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

7. Your Choices

You can view and update your profile in your dashboard, manage your membership through the billing portal, and request access to or deletion of your data by emailing support@forgecept.com.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including row-level access controls and encryption in transit, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Forgecept is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
